Important information for the Indian Nationals in Equatorial Guinea desiring to return to India

A meeting with M/s Satguru Travels, Malabo (Mr. YogeshJangid and Mr. AnandPrakash, was held on 17 June 2020 in the Embassy premises on the issue of transfer of the stranded Indian Nationals in Equatorial Guinea.

2. M/s Satguru has proposed to charter an Ethiopian Airline flight to Mumbai on 25 June 2020 to assist Indian Nationals in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea in returning to India. They have sought GOI’s permission for the operation of this flight.

3. The Embassy has appreciated their initiative of assisting the Indian Nationals, and started the due process  of seeking necessary approvals from the relevant Indian agencies.

4. The role of Embassy is limited only in arranging the necessary approvals for the flight and not in the costs of fares or other financial issues involved, which will  solely be decided mutually betweenM/s Satguru and the passenger undertaking the journey. The company however has been requested by Embassy to charge as low a fare as possible in consideration of the difficulties faced by one and all due to Corona pandemic.


5. All Indian Nationals who are availing this facility are required to submit an undertaking as per the attached format (Annex) prior to their boarding and have to agree to follow all Covid19 GOI protocols. For all flight/cost clarifications, please contact M/S Satguru Travels directly.
